One word: Scorchio!
OK, two words: Very dusty!
Maybe three: Running really fast!
That’s enough. It’s looking warm, running fast and is in great condition: Get over here!

You may remember talk of a raised boardwalk section back in January. Well, it’s now built, complete and ready to ride.
The longest day of the year is nearly upon us, so there’s no excuse not to get some all-day sessions in! If you’re not at either Leogang, Mountain Mayhem or Glasto then get over and take advantage of the loooong days and great conditions.
There has been a few showers over the week, but yesterday (Thurs 17th June) the Hill was running super fast, predominantly dry and no dust. It looks like it will be a bright and breezy weekend with mixed cloud and a stiff northerly - nice and cool for riding but take something warm for chilling in the carpark.
Weather forecast this week comes courtesy of Her Majesty’s Met Office instead of the usual Metcheck, which seems to have the gremlins in. To get an updated forecast click on www.metoffice.gov.uk.
Just for those who don’t know what the Gremlins are…
It’s been a funny old week here in Bucks. It’s been warm but wet, and a good downpour last night helped raise the water levels.
However, that’s where the bad news stops. The forecast is to get drier and brighter from here in, with a warm (but not hot) weekend. The trails will be a little sticky to begin with but drying out nicely with rain not expected until Sunday evening - expect lovely, slightly tacky conditions where you can get some good carves in and chuck up some roost!
Have a good one!
This weekend, Saturday is what it’s all about. If you aren’t rooting for Peaty, Tracy and the Athies at Fort Bill this weekend then get your backside over to the Hill on Saturday to enjoy some of the finest conditions so far this summer.
Rock on!
